Formed and founded by front man Chris “ Don Lox “ Gordon, The Lox And Keyes Theory is based out of Middletown, CT. With members from all throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts, they bring a very wide range of talent to the table. Brought together by friends of friends and some open jam improv nights at their studio, they have a very unique sound and diverse catalog. Covering a wide range of genres, The Lox and Keyes Theory likes to make a fusion style of music combining Hip Hip, Rock, Funk, Jazz, and Reggae. They have instruments that include bass, drums, auxiliary percussion, guitar, saxophone and powerhouse vocals throughout every song.
As winners of the 2019 Strangecreek Music Festival Battle of the Bands they have played with the likes of many interesting and talented artists such as MaxCreek, Pink Talking Fish, SixFox Whiskey, Fiction, and Consider the Source throughout the years.
