ABOUT
Performance artist and musician Bitch tells the story of her life in this musical one woman show. From the moment she ‘rides’ her broomstick onto stage, she weaves a colorful tale of how a shy and introverted child goes on to reclaim the word Bitch for a name. This empowering, funny and heart-felt show is woven together with violin-forward pop songs from her most recent album “Bitchcraft,” which came out earlier this year on Kill Rock Stars.
“There’s no stopping her now” La Weekly said after she premiered the first version of this show earlier this year.
Bitch first came on the scene with her band Bitch and Animal, toured with Ani Difranco and released albums on Righteous Babe Records. Since going solo, Bitch has toured with The Indigo Girls, produced two albums of her folk Idol Ferron, played herself in John Cameron Mitchell’s (Hedwig and The Angry Inch) “Shortbus,” and collaborated with Margaret Cho, Joey Soloway, Faith Soloway, God-des and Logan Lynn.

Try their pupusas, tacos, burritos and fresh horchata, directly from the streets of San Salvador to downtown Greenfield. Cocina Lupita is open Monday through Saturday at 11am, and will be serving food until 8:30.
