In 2022, Aubrey Haddard’s vision is guided by the great European songwriters of the 1990s and 2000s. On the New York-based singer-songwriter’s second full length release, Awake And Talking (out August 2022), Haddard arrives with an explosive, avant-pop catharsis in tow on “Just A Wall,” the music of Stereolab, Cocteau Twins and Björk presenting their arty influence.
Ciarra Fragale is an indie pop singer/songwriter, producer, and actor from NY’s Hudson Valley. By blending the nostalgic traditions of songwriting with unique new-wave sensibilities, she creates a refreshing sound all her own. In addition to making her own music, Ciarra has also composed many works for theater and film.
Kalliope Jones (Alouette Batteau, Amelia Chalfant, and Isabella DeHerdt) met in 2012 at the Institute for the Musical Arts (IMA) in Goshen MA, a rock and roll camp for girls. Since then, they have played at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, the Green River Festival, and venues such as the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton, Wolftrap Center for Performing Arts in Virginia, and Passim in Cambridge, to name a few. The trio has played alongside a number of other acts including Dar Williams, The Nields, Antigone Rising, and And the Kids. Their 2015 video, Nightlight, was released by MTV, People Magazine, and Seventeen, and was voted one of the top ten videos in New England by the Worcester Telegraph, as well as winning Best Music Video at the Ashfield Film Festival. Batteau, Chalfant, and DeHerdt write and arrange original songs with professional confidence and skill. They have released a full length self titled album, a 6 track EP titled “Bubblegum Heart,” and a single titled “Beach Day.” At ages 18, 18, and 21, Kalliope Jones are developing their skills and plan to play music for the rest of their lives.
